David A. Lehner, age 71 passed away at his home in Millcreek on August 30, 2022. He was born in Erie on November 6, 1950 to the late Richard Lehner and Gloria Wicker McKeeton.
David was a graduate of Harborcreek High School, who loved exploring and the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing throughout PA, golfing, hunting and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He worked as a medical courier for St. Vincent Hospital. After retiring, he drove a school bus for the Millcreek School District for the last 10 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Lehner and step father Fred McKeeton.
David is survived by his fiancé, Christine Rose; daughters, Kathrine Lehner and Corinne Lehner; step brother, Perf McKeeton (Vivian) of Boston, MA; grandchildren, Kylie Lehner, Zoe O’Hara, Zane O’Hara, Kortini McFadden and Kayci McFadden; uncle, Leonard Wicker (Linda) of Erie; and aunts, Katherine Lehner of Baltimore, MD and Linda McKeeton of Astor, FL.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 2 at Burton Quinn Scott at Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, PA 16510 from 2-4 and 6-8 and are invited to services at the funeral home on Saturday, September 3 at 10 A.M. with Fr. Michael DeMartinis officiating.
Interment in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery with full military honors by Erie-Crawford County Burial Detail.
