David Lawrence

David Lawrence, age 67, of Girard, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Erie on July 6, 1948, a son of the late Alton and Anna Walker Lawrence.

David attended Fairview High School. He spent his life working in the concrete industry, first at Top Roc and then Site Blauvelt Engineers, from which he retired as a consultant after twenty six years. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, and had been a devout Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers fan.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Leon White.

David is survived by his loving wife, Susan Keller Lawrence; his seven children: Kathy Temple (Dan Tomko), Shelly Graves and her husband Gerry, David Lawrence, Jr. and his wife Marcy, Tammy Fellows (Bill Barto), Aaron Lawrence (Michelle Boyer), Eric Lawrence and his wife Jessica, and Nathan Lawrence and his wife Tara; three sisters: Alma Carnes and her husband, David, Joy Ward and her husband Randy and Angie Gregory; a brother, Glen Lawrence. He is further survived by 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. David also leaves behind his dog, Lilly.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, in Girard, on Friday from 2-4 and 6pm until the time of the prayer service at 8pm. Burial will be private at Girard Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to www.Burtonfuneralhomes.com.
