David Connaroe

David A. Connaroe age 64, of Millcreek, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie on July 31, 1952, a son of the late Robert Connaroe and Laura Jean Cote Connaroe Karle.
David graduated from Cathedral Prep in 1970 and went on to work for GTE/Verizon for over 38 years until his retirement in 2010.

He was an avid bowler and golfer who enjoyed his annual golf trips with his friends and was an excellent cook. He enjoyed the history of Erie and had an extensive collection of memorabilia. He was an amazing father who adored his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Della Connaroe; three sons, Patrick Connaroe and his wife Kristen, Kevin Connaroe and Daniel Connaroe all of Erie; a sister, Anne Gianoni and her husband John of Fairview; two grandchildren, Logan and Lillie; nieces and nephews, Jonathan Ahlgren, Erin Ahlgren, Bonny Ahlgren Petruso, John Domenic Gianoni, Jr., and Anthony Gianoni; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 until the time of service at 8:30 p.m.
