David Cologrande

David A. Cologrande, age 80, of Erie passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at Golden Living Western Reserve. He was born September 8, 1938 in Erie the son of the late Loretto and Margaret Titko Colegrande.

A lifelong resident of Erie, David had owned an Italian Deli on West 26^th St. and later retired as a Supervisor of maintenance at the Erie County Courthouse. He was a member of St. Paul’s RC Church and also belonged to the Erie Maennerchor club and the Nuova Aurora club, where he once managed.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Shari Cologrande.

David is survived by his wife Kathleen Ross Cologrande, and a brother, Dennis Cologrande and his wife Angela of Erie. He is the uncle of Kim Cologrande Englert and Lisa Cologrande Mitri and her husband Samir of Visalia, CA and Jason Worcester of South Riding, VA. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews along with his very close friends; Elva Porter; Ray, Marianne, and Anna Wisnieski; and Michelle Falbo.

David’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at AseraCare Hospice and Golden Living at Western Reserve for the compassionate care they provided David during his illness.

Friends are invited to call at the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9^th & Liberty St. on Sunday from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Paul’s RC Church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AseraCare Hospice, 12664 US-19, Waterford, PA 16441, or the Emmaus Soup Kitchen, 345 E.9^th St., Erie, PA 16503.
