David Cole

David R. Cole age 62, of Fairview, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at UPMC

Hamot from heart failure.

He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 16, 1951 a son of the late Randall E. and Ruth

Deer Cole.

David graduated from Shaler High School in 1970 and Robert Morris College in 1975.

He worked as a Purchasing Manager at Lord Corp.

David enjoyed playing golf, the guitar and watching the Stock Market. He enjoyed

meeting and learning about people. He loved spending time with his family. He will be

remembered as a larger than life character and colorful storyteller, who loved to make

everyone laugh.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Yvonne Cole; a daughter, Amanda Wilson and her

husband Timothy of Washington, DC; a son, Jared D. Cole of Reading, PA; a sister,

Debra Cole of Bradenton, FL and many nieces and nephews. He will further be missed

by his best friend, his dog Benny.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell

Ave) on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. Scott

Detisch officiating.

Failure Clinic at Medicor.
