Darryl Hunt

Darryl J. Hunt, age 54, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 30, 2017.
He was born in Erie on July 23, 1963, a son of Milton E. Hunt of Albion and Joyce M. Hilbert Woodley of Millcreek.
Darryl attended McDowell High School and then served in the Army National Guard, being deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He retired following 33 years of service to his country.
He was a member of the Millcreek American Legion Post #773 and the Sportsman Club.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed being outside, camp and 4-wheeling.
Darryl was preceded in death by a sister in law, Amy Hunt, step father, Tom Woodley and a step sister Cindi L. Woodley.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Brienna Richardson and her husband, Anthony Hammer, a daughter Kaylee Hunt and a son Tyler Hunt. He is further survived by three brothers, Chris A. Hunt, Daniel A. Hunt and Scott E. Hunt and his wife Lynn; a sister, Ginger L. Hall and her husband Michael; step siblings: Joyce McLaughlin (Kim Carlin) Millie Etter (Todd Chodrow), Bryan Woodley (Sandra), John F. Kerr Jr., Tina L. Kerr Brown and Kellyjo Kerr; as well as his step mother, Nancy Hunt. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Friends may call on Saturday January 13 from 3:00 until the time of the Memorial Service at 5:00 pm at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26th St. (at Powell Ave.)
