Darrin Hillinski

Darrin Raymond Hilinski age 51, of Erie, passed away at home on Thursday, April 13, 2017. 

He was born in Erie on October 26, 1965 a son of the late Richard J. and Shirley L. Irwin Hilinski. He was a 1984 graduate of McDowell High School and married Cheryl Lehr Hilinski. Darrin was a singer songwriter who recorded and performed with the band Manyia. He also worked sometime in the field of air conditioning with Lukjan Supply and Manufacturing in Erie. 

In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Heather Dietrich of Virginia Beach, VA and her newly born son, Donavan Haugh. He also leaves a sister, Dinah Hilinski Bergman (Andy) of Erie and three brothers; Richard Hilinski (Sue) of Erie, Timothy Hilinski of Greenville, PA and Nicholas Hilinski (Marcie) of Erie. Several nieces, nephews and cousins remain along with a sister-in-law, Karen Hilinski. 

Family and friends may call at Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Ave) Erie, PA 16506 on Thursday from 6:00 pm till a brief time of sharing there at 8:00 pm.
