Darlene Confer

Darlene Confer, age 59, formerly of Albion, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at Pleasant Ridge Manor. 

She was born in Erie on August 1, 1960, a daughter of the late Wilbert E. and Frances Gehr Confer.

Darlene graduated from Northwestern High School in 1978.

She was a member of the Albion American Legion Auxilliary.

Darlene had many friends and loved helping people.  She volunteered at the food pantry and was a member of Wayne Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence and Gayle Confer and a sister, Carol Sumner; and her companion of 35 years, William Von.

Darlene is survived by her sisters, Cheryl (Paul) Nichols of Erie, Diane Confer, and Beverly (Albert) Wilson, all of Albion; many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were private and held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St.East, Girard.
