Darlene Acosta

Darlene L. Stafford Acosta, age 73, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at her residence.

Darlene was born, in Erie, on March 14, 1948, a daughter to late Buster and Leona Severance Stafford.

Darlene enjoyed vacationing at the beaches of South Carolina. She was a devout Christian woman who loved her faith. Darlene loved flowers, playing bingo, spending time around the fireplace, and collecting Native American dolls. Most of all, she loved spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julio; her parents; and son-in-law, Mike Miller.

Darlene is survived by her children, Laura and Robert Guarino, Darlene and Woodrow Campbell, Cyrel Miller, Mark and Sandy Prindle, David and Millie Prindle, Donna and Randy Smith, Tonya Acosta (fiancée Jesse Mobly), Autumn Acosta, Alferdo and Sabrina Acosta, and Magdalena Acosta; and lots and lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc Downtown, 602 W. 10^th St, Erie 16502 on Wednesday, May 5 from noon until 2:00 and 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. Service will be held Thursday at 1:00 P.M. with Father Shawn Clerkin officiating. Burial to follow in Erie County Memorial Gardens. Current CDC guidelines for face masks and social distancing will be followed.
