Darcy Mattocks

Darcy Ann Mattocks, age 60, of Erie, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Erie on July 27, 1961 a daughter of Guy Mattocks and the late Rosalie Ann Mattocks.

Darcy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a heart of gold and would give you anything she had, even if it was her last. She was outgoing, full of life and would find a way out of no way to make things happen. She loved taking care of her plants and would always say she had the “magic touch” to make them grow. She loved the color red, and enjoyed the simple things in life including driving to the dock, riding around the beach and going to Waldameer, but more than anything she cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and dog Louie. Anyone she came in contact with, knew how much her children, grandchildren and dog meant to her. 

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son Kevin Mattocks.

She is survived by 6 children, Ashley, Felicia, Holly, Jessica , Adrianna and Joseph Mattocks; two grandchildren, Saphira and Amira; a sister, Deborah Shelton; and two nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services 3801 W. 26^th Street on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of sharing at 6:00 p.m.
