Dan was a founding sponsor and rider at the Flight 93 National Memorial where he rode in honor of the oldest passenger on the plane, Hilda Marcin, and named his bike “Hilda” in her honor.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his half-brother, Bruce Horn.

Dan is survived by his son, Joseph (Billi Jo) Lombardo and beloved granddaughter Madilyn of North East, PA; two sisters, Sheila (Tim) Ohmer and Shawn (Jeff) Kesling; a brother, Brian Horn, all of Erie. He is further survived by a half-sister Pamela (Jim) Williams of Wadsworth, OH and a half- brother, Patrick Devlin of Erie; as well as his devoted girlfriend Sallie Lewis and her granddaughter Symarah; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that were like brothers, including his roommate Paul Whitman, and so many other great friends.
