Daniel Michael Brennan

Daniel Michael Brennan, age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the VA Medical Center surrounded by his loving family after an extended illness. 

Daniel was born on July 15, 1938, in Erie, PA, to the late James and Mary (Sullivan) Brennan.

Daniel was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School. His life was marked by unwavering commitment to helping others throughout his career. After receiving his bachelor’s degree, he taught social studies at Harbor Creek High School until furthering his education with a master’s degree in social worker from Case Western University. Daniel would then work at Maria House Project where he provided counseling and education. He had a love of motorcycles and antique cars. Above all Daniel was a loving husband and devoted father.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Brennan. 

Daniel's presence will be deeply missed by his loving spouse of 33 years, Mary Jane (Dobrogosz) Brennan and his children, Pamela Moore, of McKean, PA, Deacon Daniel Brennan Jr. (Julie), of Tulsa, OK and their children, Luke, Chloe and Michael, Gregory Brennan (Tomara), of Arlington, TX, Thomas Brennan (Suzanne), of Poteau, OK and their children, Madeline, Olivia and Jim. He is further survived by his siblings, Maryann Casey, Kathleen Edwards, Timothy Brennan (Helena) and Rita Seeley, who will carry on his memory with love.

Friends are invited to a 10:00 a.m. Memorial Mass at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1116 W 7th St., on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10th Street.
