Damiekio Hollingsworth Martin

Damiekio Donta Hollingsworth Martin, age 25 of Pittsburgh, Pa. and formerly of Erie, died on Wednesday July 17, 2013 at his residence.

He was born in Erie, Pa. on September 23, 1987, a son of Tony Hollingsworth Sr. and Imockia Harvard.

Damiekio graduated from East High School and attended the Job Corps Center.

He worked in the health care industry at HCR Manor Care, and PFQ Citizen, Inc.

Damiekio enjoyed singing (but couldn’t sing), football, music, family, eating and enjoyed his children very much.

He was preceded in death by Deborah Martin and Mary Rhodes.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife Claudia Martin of Erie, three children: Damiekio Diego Martin, Donte Andres Martin and Aliya Renee Knight; his brothers: Dijon Lyons, Tony Hollingsworth Jr., Jammeeo Hollingsworth, Jamario Hollingsworth, Demar Harvey, Trevon Harvard, Antonio Carter, Arsenio Mcadory, Tarell Lyons Sr., Derrick Taylor, Greg Garmon, Deon Harvard, Shaurice Clark, Timmothy Bush, Tiger Lee Hollingsworth, and Willie Ray Crosby Jr.; sisters Taylor Coleman, Glendia Ridgeway, and Shatona Hollingsworth, his very special friends Donald Hardy and Willie Crosby Sr., and a special cousin Merle Page Jr., his loving godfather Jackie Kemp, his special aunts, Tonja Page (Merle Page Sr.), Hisonia Lyons and Nakia Lyons and many loving cousins, aunts and uncles.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and are invited to the funeral service on Wednesday at Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2624 German Street at 11 a.m.

Burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
