Scott Schick

D. Scott Schick age 72 of Erie, passed away Saturday, July 20th, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital. 

He was born in Painesville, Ohio on June 20, 1952 a son of Betty Baer Schick and the late Marvin J. Schick.

Scott graduated from Strong Vincent High School and worked for Carpenter’s Local #81 for 35 years, as well as the American Legion Post for 13 years. He was a member of the America Legion #773 and the Moose Lodge #66. 

In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, in 2017, his brother David Schick, and his son, Matthew Schick.

He is survived by his son Michael and his wife Destiny, his daughters, Traci Schick and Carrie Maison, and her husband Chris, all of Erie; five grandchildren, Fiona, Despina, Dahlia, David, and Savannah; two great-grandchildren, Maeve and Vivian; his brothers Don Schick and his wife Linda of Erie, Gary Schick and his wife Karen of Columbus Ohio, and his sister Shari Covato of Erie. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn-Scott Funeral Home, West Ridge, 3801 West 26th Street from 6 until 8 pm on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
