Corey Cray

Corey James Cray, June 7, 1986 to September 20, 2014, (age 28), of McKean, the sweetest, most wonderful son left this world after suffering for seven months with a rare form of Leukemia. He overcame every obstacle like a champ, never complaining, never asking why. He wore a different goofy pair of socks to chemo each day to make the nurses smile.

Corey was preceded in death by his wonderful grandparents, Dori and Spike Cray and Bess and Seymour Tivis and a generous, inspiring Uncle Bud (Cray).

He is survived by his big brother Jake, Mom (Susan), Dad (Jim), Miss Molly and his beloved aunts and uncles; Aunt Marcie (Schlaudecker), Uncle Johnny and Aunt Mary (Cray), Aunt Suzie and Uncle Eric (Bohn) and many cousins; Emily Schlaudecker (his comrade in silence), Heather Cray and Chris Hammill, Aaron and Robin Bohn, Emily Bohn, Erica Bohn, Gregory Bohn and the family’s newest addition, Aaron and Robin’s daughter Madeline Sue Bohn.

There will be no funeral for Corey. Instead we welcome you to join us for a celebration of Corey’s life. There were so many friends, family and neighbors who helped and supported us in so many ways during this very difficult time who we would like to thank. Corey will have a gift for everyone to remember him by. We love you all and hope you will join us on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 2:00 to 8:00 at Erepa Grotto Picnic Grounds, RT 99, McKean PA.
