Constance Borowicz

Constance “Connie” M. (Alacce) Borowicz, age 89, of Erie passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at Millcreek Community Hospital. She was born April 26,1933 in Erie the daughter of the late Dominick and Jenny (Spano) Alacce. A lifelong resident of Erie, Constance was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. She very much enjoyed the times spent with family and friends and enjoyed following the activities of her four grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Guilford and two brothers; Carl Alacce and John Alacce.

Connie is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Edward M. Borowicz; two sons, Jeffery Borowicz and his wife Carol, Daniel Borowicz and his wife Jacquie, all of Erie. Also survived by a sister, Amelia Petre of Ridgefield, CT. She is the grandmother of Danny, Michael, Amanda, and Nicole Borowicz and the great- grandmother of Layla. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services were held with entombment in Gate of Heaven mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie VA Medical Center Patient Activities Fund, 135 E.38^th St., Erie, PA 16504.
