Cleveland Butts

Cleveland Butts, 52, of the 1200 block of E. 28th St., Erie, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at his residence.

He was born in Dawson, GA on September 28, 1962 to Jurabell Green and Charlie Lee Butts.

Cleveland graduated from Dunkirk Senior High in 1981 and went on to attend Jamestown College. He relocated to Erie, PA where he worked for Kwik Fill as a Store Manager for over 15 years. His most recent employment was in retail and sales for Scott Enterprises.

He loved music, to cook and dance, and always liked to dress and smell nice.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and two sisters, Susan Butts and Bernice Green Warren.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memory five brothers, Michael L. (Michelle) Butts of Florida, Charlie C. Butts of Sinclairville, NY, Darin L Butts of Jamestown, NY, Chad L. (Yolanda) and Brandon L. Butts of Dunkirk, NY. A favorite aunt, Ruby Green of Dunkirk, NY and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home 602 West 10th Street Erie, on Wednesday, August 26, from Noon until 1pm. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
