Clarice Euliano

Clarice Marie (Matz) Euliano, age 94, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2017.  She was born on June 16, 1922, in Erie, PA, daughter of the late Archie J. and Ruth (Walker) Matz.  She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and attended Hamot Hospital’s  School of Nursing.  Clarice, lovingly called “Keeko” by her children and grandchildren, was an avid gardener, gourmet cook, and talented artist.
Clarice was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 63 years, Dr. John J. Euliano, Sr. and her beloved son, Dr. John J. Euliano, Jr.  She was also preceded in death by her dear brother, James Edward Matz.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Ruthanne Euliano Marz and her husband Rick of Danville, CA and her devoted son, Douglas J. Euliano and his wife Susan of Erie, PA.  She is further survived by her six grandchildren: John Euliano III, Kristen Euliano Costa (Matthew), Jessica Marz, Joshua Marz, Jonathan Marz (Ann), Nicholas Marz (Rachel), and her nine great-grandchildren:  Matthew, Maria and Will Costa; Benjamin, Catherine and Jon Marz; Thea Moran; Kai Marz; and Cecilia Euliano.  She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Karen S. Euliano along with several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10:30 AM in St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 2801 West 6th Street, Erie, PA, with a Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 AM.  Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.
