Clair F. Henneman, age 85, of Cranesville, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Golden Living Western Reserve.
He was born in Indiana, PA on August 26, 1928, the son of the late Charles Henneman; and Fred and Agnes Swartz Bryan.
Clair graduated from Indiana High School. He was owner of Clair Henneman Services. Clair was a hard worker and will fondly be remembered for “farming” his kids out to work. He loved flea markets and was a regular at Sunset Flea Market in Waterford. Clair enjoyed hunting, racing boats, square dancing and roller skating. He met his wife at Evans Skateland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Charlene White Henneman; a son, Cole A. Henneman; daughter, Cheryl; two son in laws: David Zygai and Dale Starr; and a dear friend Joann Anderson.
Clair is survived by two daughters: Cindy Zygai, and Cathi Starr; and two sons: Craig and Chris; Five grandchildren: Tamara, Lynnsey, Katie, Heather and Amber; four great grandchildren: Joshua, Liam, Maeve, and Dillon. He is further survived by his brothers, Robert, Harry and Phillip Henneman; and his sisters: Joann Steiner, Janet Gleason and Nancy Henneman.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, in Girard, on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m, and are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday at 11 a.m, in the All Faith Chapel.
