Christopher Roll

Christopher Raymond Roll, age 27, of Girard, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Roswell Park Hospital, Buffalo, NY.

He was born in Geneva, NY, on December 11, 1986, a son of Daniel and Carolynn Fusco Roll, of Fairview.

Christopher graduated from Fairview High School in 2004; he attended Edinboro University and Tristate Business Institute, where he earned his welding certificate. He worked as an inside salesman at Finish Thompson Inc.

Christopher’s passion for life was infectious. He was a huge sports enthusiast, avid outdoorsman, but first and foremost he cherished his time spent with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by many, and fondly remembered for his sunny disposition, and the ability to make people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Emily S. Moore in January 2014.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Katherine Roll; two children, Rachel and Lucas Vandenbrand; a sister, Mary K. Roll; a brother, Matthew V. Roll; a nephew Aidan Moore; grandmother Hildreth Roll, and grandfather Anthony Fusco.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 6851 Old Ridge Rd., Fairview, PA 16415 with Rev. Brenda Martin officiating.
