Christopher M. Kovach age 45, of North East, Pa., died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at home.
He was born in Erie, Pa. on May 7, 1968 a son of the late Michael and Martha Popchak Kovach.
He was a 1986 graduate of Tech Memorial High School and worked as a machinist for Pennsylvania Electric Motor Service. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed life especially riding his motorcycle and camping. He built and continued to expand his home little by little and was always ready to give everyone else a hand with all their projects as he was always reliable whenever asked by anyone for help due to his extraordinary knowledge of things mechanical. He was a very humble simple person who was loved by everyone. Chris very much loved the people at the North East Vets Club.
In addition to his wife Deborah Coughlin Kovach, Chris is survived by three children; Bethany, Zachery and Rachael Kovach along with three stepchildren; Brittnee, Brandon and Brooklynn Strutsky. A grandson, Khyren Lindahl also survives along with his siblings; Anthony (Sandy) Kovach, Roseanne Vanshura, Joe (Cathy "Chickie") Kovach, Marie (Don) Valley and Thomas (Lynn ) Kovach.
Friends may gather in memory of Chris at the North East Vet's Club, 28 Vine Street, North East, Pa. on Saturday at 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, Pa. 16502 or during the memorial to help with family expenses
