Christine Kowalski

Christine A. (Trucco) Kowalski, age 71 of Erie, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018, with her loving husband by her side. She was born in Meadville, PA on April 5, 1947, daughter to the late Sebastian and Josephine (Damico) Trucco.

Christine had worked at GTE, Duggan’s Service and Appliance, and later as a secretary for Metz Food Service. She loved to read and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Besides her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her beloved son, Matthew S. Kowalski in 2005, and by her siblings, Mary Ann Feltenberger, Anthony Portfilio, Ernestine Paulson, and Anthony Trucco.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence L. Kowalski, a sister, Frances Hatheway of Erie, a sister-in-law, Harriett Trucco of Meadville, and a brother-in-law, Fran Feltenberger of Meadville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Quinn Funeral Home, 728 West Ninth Street, Erie, on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Further visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at St. Joseph/ Bread of Life Church, 147 West 24th St, from 10:00 AM until 10:30AM at which time a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Private burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
