Christine Gillespie

Christine Gillespie, age 72, of McKean, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday August 31, 2013.

She was born in Jackson, KY on April 19, 1941 daughter of the late Lee and Ida Haddix Howard.

Christine attended Memorial High School and was a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed camping, traveling, and gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Gillespie, a sister Victoria Boston, and a brother Morton Howard.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years Wilson Gillespie, two sons Donnie (Kimberly) Gillespie of McKean, PA and Woodrow “Woody” Gillespie and his partner Michael Boehler of San Tan Valley, AZ.

Friends are invited to call at Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street Erie, PA 16506 on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service there at 11:00 am.
