Christina Marie Cacchione

December 20, 1989 — January 18, 2024

Christina (Tina) Marie Cacchione age 34 died peacefully January 18th, 2024, giving the gift of life through donating her heart and organs. Christina was born December 20th, 1989, in Erie, Pennsylvania to Tamara Cacchione.

The simplest pleasures brought so much joy to Christina throughout her life.  Eating treats, such as cheeseburgers, cheese puffs and drinking Pepsi while watching her Disney movies were Christina’s happiest times. She had the profound ability of being the princess in the room and letting everyone know it. Although Christina never spoke a single word or took a single step, she was a true inspiration to anyone that had the privilege of meeting her. We all looked to her as the purest example of perseverance and strength, as she fought through her deteriorating health and physical limitations. It is our belief that Christina is in a far better place now. A place where She is free of pain and suffering. A magical kingdom, where she can sing and dance like a princess. Christina will be missed by many, but her contagious smile will live on in our hearts and minds.

She is preceded in death by her Grandfather Norman Cacchione, her Uncle Normy Cacchione Jr. and her Cousin C.J. Stein Jr.

Along with her Mother Tamara Cacchione, she is survived by her Brother Tony D’Albora (Jessica) nephews Anthony, Landon and Calvin. Her Grandmother Carol Cacchione, an Uncle John Cacchione , Aunts Michelle Shirley and Kelli Stein and cousins, Nicole Lehr, Jason Shirley, Patrick Cacchione, Vincent Cacchione and Samantha Vidal(Luis).

Her Family also extends gratitude beyond measure to all the nurses, caregivers and staff for the kindness and loving care that they gave Christina throughout the years. The bonds she made will always be remembered and appreciated.

A celebration of life will be held in her memory at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, Erie.

“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.”
