Chester "Larry" Cerbach

Chester “Larry” Cerbach age 78, died Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Edinboro Manor.

Born in Canonsburg, PA on January 18th, 1946 the son of the late Stella Jenny Elewski and Chester Edward Cerbach.
He graduated from Pittsburgh Business School and Tri-State.

Larry worked at Erie Insurance for 19 years in the Personal Lines Division.  He enjoyed going to the YMCA and spending time with his grandchildren and friends. Larry was also an avid Steelers fan.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Leabhart Cerbach and his beloved dog Maggie. 

Larry is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Schwab and husband Eric of Minot, ND, and Melanie Dzurik and husband Luke of Erie. He is further survived by his sister Janice Urban of Canonsburg, PA, by three grandchildren Zachary Schwab, Dakota Cerbach (fiancé Celina) and Justin Dzurik; and his best friends Rose, and Kathryn. Larry is survived by a nephew Jimmy Urban and nieces Denise Imperator and Kristen Smutney. 

The family would like to thank Luke’s mom Judy Ross, and the staff at Saint Vincent 7 North, and Edinboro Manor for the care and concern they showed Larry. 

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 West 26th on Thursday, March 7, 2024 , from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Entombment will take place Friday, March 8, at 11:00 a.m. in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 3325 West Lake Road, Erie.
