Cheryl Mason

Cheryl Mason, age 70, of Erie, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, July 12, 1953 to the late Benjamin and Flora Brown Mason. Cheryl earned her master’s degree and worked as a case manager and social worker.

She loved to cook, read, spend time with her family, and her church family.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Robert Taylor (Deshandra Chappell), Charmaine Evans (Adrian McCullum), Tamara Taylor, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother, Eugene Mason (Evelyn), and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl is preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Taylor and Earl Hicks; and by her siblings, Carl Mason, Daisey Brown. She is further preceded by her aunt Maggie Bell, uncle Willie Brown, and her nephews Eugene Mason Jr. and Bathan Mason.

Friends are invited to call on the family, Saturday July 29, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10^th Street, Erie. Burial to follow in Erie Cemetery
