Cheryl LaCoe

Cheryl LaCoe, age 77, of Erie, PA passed away July 22, 2023, at LECOM Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Erie, PA on September 7, 1945, to the late Louis Carl Faulhaber and Leatrice May Engle Faulhaber.  

Cheryl had a very strong faith and was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church. The Lord was her life, and she loved reading his word, and would speak it to anyone who would listen. She loved meeting new people and singing at church services. She extends her prayers, love and eternal thanks to all of her friends and relatives. Cheryl loved nature and animals, especially horses and Presque Isle. She loved doing crafts, games, puzzles, and watching movies. She always tried to look at the bright side of life and situations, tried to make friends wherever she went and prayed that the Lord would hold her close within his arms to keep her on the straight and narrow path.  

Cheryl is survived by her two children, Timothy W. LaCoe (wife Jennifer), and daughter Michelle Malone. She is further survived by her siblings, John Faulhaber and Doreen Mitchell and Cheryl’s grandchildren, Devin LaCoe, Terri LaCoe, and Mackenzie Sloan. 

Private arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown 602 West 10^th Street, Erie.
