Cheryl A. Hawk

Cheryl A. Hawk, age 67 of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on October 6, 1955, daughter of the late Gerald Blum of Erie, and Marilyn Blum of AZ.

Cheryl peacefully took her last breath in the presence of her family shortly after a recent pancreatic cancer diagnosis. Cheryl loved the simple life. You could find her spending her afternoons lost in a good book or sitting on her porch watching the birds. As a grandma of six she had many sporting events to attend keeping her busy as well, soccer games, swim meets and baseball games. She knew all the rules and all their teammates. Being her grandkids biggest fan fueled her heart of gold. Cheryl is the true definition of kindness and spread it everywhere she went. No doubt she was the most important person in our lives. She dedicated her life to being the best wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed more than words can say.

She was the beloved wife of Roger A Hawk of Erie, devoted mother of Jennifer (Hawk) Jell and husband Jason Jell of NY. Natalie (Hawk) Lawry and husband Kevin Lawry. Loving sister of Jackie Reidhead of AZ and Darlene Toomey of Erie Pa. Loving Grandmother of Briana Peters, Ashton Jell, Collin Lawry, Emily Lawry, Gavin Jell, and Conner Lawry.
