Charlotte Morschhauser

April 4, 1925 — February 28, 2017

Charlotte Morschhauser, age 91, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Sarah Reed Senior Living.

Charlotte was born in Erie, PA on April 4, 1925, a daughter of the late Charles and Phoebe (Hall) Miller.

Charlotte graduated from Academy High School in 1943. She had also been a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Charlotte was a wonderful mother, a devoted grandmother and her life was extremely faith filled. She was a beautiful, gracious lady and was a friend to many in her community.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ted, Jack and Chuck Miller.

She is survived by three children, Lynn Jackson and her husband Dan of Erie, Dave Morschhauser and his wife Carol of Mystic, CT and Leslie Payne and her husband Tom of Leesburg, VA; six grandchildren, Michelle Hiney and her husband Eric, Natalie Jackson, Ben Jackson, Ryan Payne and his wife Jessica, Kaitlyn Payne and Jeffrey Payne; and a great-grandson, Harrison Payne. Additionally she is survived by a brother, Raymond Miller and his wife Mary of Rockville, MD and a sister, Rosalie Flick and her husband Dave of Fairview, PA.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street, (at Powell Avenue,) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service there at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Richard Moyer officiating.

Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
