Charles Smith

Charles Locke “Dar” Smith, age 34, lost his battle with drug addiction on Thursday, June 17, 2021.

Charles was born on September 25, 1986, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, a son to Charles McFarland and Terri Smith Nelson.

Saying goodbye is hard, letting you go isn’t going to be easy. You were so proud and excited about your new life in sobriety and tried so hard to battle the demons. All the pain and sorrow is gone and you can now rest peacefully, my sweet boy.

Charles leaves behind a son, Jaxon Dean Allen Smith, who he loved with all his heart; his mother, Terri Nelson (Greg); a sister, Melissa McFarland, a brother, Joshua McFarland; and his father, Charles McFarland (Beverly).

You will be missed dearly and we love you always and forever.

The family will be remembering Charles at the family residence, 1044 W. 10^th St, Erie, PA 16502, on Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services Inc Downtown, 602 W. 10^th St, Erie, PA 16502.
