Charles Joint

Charles “Charlie” Joint age 84, a resident of Millcreek died at UPMC Hamot on Friday, November 15, 2013. He was born in Erie, Pa. on February 15, 1929 a son of the late Charles J. and Ruth Whipple Joint Sr. He was a graduate of East High School and served in the US Army from 1947 till 1951. He worked for Hammermil and International Paper Company as the head leader of carton storage for forty three years retiring in 1989. He loved the Boston Red Sox and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a great lover of animals. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; John and William Joint and a sister, Geraldine Joint. He is survived by his children; Jennifer and Jeffrey Joint, grandchildren; Corey Katchen Joint and Kyle Joint along with a sister-in-law, Rita Joint all of Erie, and many nieces and nephews. Services were private at the convenience of the family.
