Charles Criscione

Charles “Mr. C” Criscione passed away at the age of 76 on Friday, January 28, 2022, surrounded by family after a long battle with a chronic blood infection.

He was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School, class of 1963. Charles was married to his high school sweetheart of 56 years, Suellen Serafini Criscione. Charles and Suellen worked together their whole life. After spending many years working at the then, family owned Serafini's Restaurant, they ventured out on their own in 1987. Charles and Suellen spent 13 years owning and operating Mr. C's Italian Restaurant. They cherished the many friends and memories they made among customers and employees. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as hunting and fishing.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Criscione and Josephine Cash Criscione; his wife, Suellen Serafini Criscione; two sisters and a brother, Mary Criscione Tuzynski, Antoinette Criscione Hess, and Joseph Criscione.

Charles is survived by four children, Paula Morgan (Kenneth), Matthew Criscione, Mark Criscione (Susan), Tammie Brine (Kyle); seven grandchildren,  Anthony, Ashley, Dominic, Brexlyn, Rosabella, Sebastian, Santino; one brother, Anthony Criscione (Rosemary); several in-laws, Robert Serafini (Sandra), Judy Serafini Johnson (Raymond), Debbie Serafini Miller, Anthony Serafini (Sue), Edward Serafini (Lana), Anna Leone Serafini, Eric Miller (Raymond); dear friends, Jean Coffey (Colin), Jim Wieczorek (Gae Ann), Sandra LaJohn Barry (Ed), Paula McQueeney Criscione; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs Mr. Bones and Higgins.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard Pa 16417, on Friday from 3:00-6:00 PM.
