Charles “Chad” Donald Robertson age 27, of Fairview, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 following an automobile accident.
He was born in Erie on January 11, 1990 a son of Tim R. and Paula Harrington Robertson.
Chad graduated from Fairview High School with honors in 2008. He was an All-Star baseball player and also wrestled.
Chad knew everything there was to know about sports, especially the Green Bay Packers and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was an avid music lover who enjoyed playing guitar in the TJD band. He was a known as an extremely happy and sincere person who brought a smile to all who knew him.
He was proud to have worked at Avonia Tavern as a cook and a kitchen manager for ten years, where he made many long-lasting friendships.
In addition to his parents, Chad is survived by a sister, Jillian Anderson (Jason); a brother, Garett Lewis; two nieces, Halle Zelina and Lily Anderson; three uncles, Tim, Tom (Kim), and David (Jeanne Marie) Harrington; an aunt, Lisa (Raymond) Douglas; and a grandmother, Norma Harrington. He is also survived by his beloved cats, Domino and Captain.
Chad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Charles D. Robertson and Margaret Ellen Dahlquist-Robertson, his maternal grandfather Harold E. Harringtion, and his paternal uncle Mark Charles Robertson.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a service on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Wayside Presbyterian Church 1208 Asbury Rd. Erie, PA 16505.
