Charlene Agnus Joint

Charlene Agnus Joint, age 97, of Erie, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Greenfield Healthcare. She was born in Erie, June 21, 1926 to the late Charles and Mary Blossy Joint.

Charlene graduated from East High School, class of 1946. She retired from General Electric in 1986, after 36 years of employment. Charlene was an avid bowler and golfer, she helped establish the Golf Belles, a ladies golf league, over 50 years ago at Erie Golf Course. She played softball for the first women’s softball league in Erie, making it to the state finals. Charlene loved digging in the dirt, spending hours gardening, and she loved to travel.

In addition to her parents, Charlene is preceded in death by her siblings, Agnus Nosko, Marianne Edwards, Patricia Roberts, Charles Joint, and a lifelong best friend Jeff Ferguson.

She is survived by her siblings, Helen Joint, and James Joint, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
