Chad Moore

Chad Moore, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 13, 2015.

He was born in Erie on July 22, 1986. He spent most of his life in Erie and West Palm Beach, FL.

He graduated from Central High School with honors in 2004, and was very active there on the Academic Sports League as well as being Central’s “Poet Laureate” in his senior year.

Chad attended Thiel College in Greenville, PA.

He worked at Men’s Wearhouse, Staples, Teletron/Unicredit America, Long John Silvers, and various work-study positions while at Thiel.

There could be no summation of his short life without stating some of the things he most enjoyed- soccer, music, (singing, songwriting, playing guitar), poetry, table tennis, drawing, painting, and wrestling and boxing in the backyard with his brother. Chad was a very unique and creative individual.

Chad leaves behind his mother, Valli Moyer of Houston, TX; brother, Justin Moyer of West Palm Beach, FL; his second parents, Fran Davis and her late husband Bill of Erie; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; his pets, “Diva” and “Mrs. Whiskers”; and many friends.

Family and friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 602 W 10th Street on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m.

Private burial will be at Whispering Pines Cremation Garden at a later date.
