Cecil Proctor

Cecil Wayne Proctor, age 53, of Erie died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 6, 1960, the son of the late Violet Walker Proctor and the late Cecil Proctor.

Cecil will be fondly remembered for his love of the outdoors. He loved gardening, beaches and barbeques, and movies. He was an avid Greenbay Packers fan. Cecil was at his happiest when he was attending family gatherings.

In addition to his mother and father, Cecil was proceeded in death by a niece, Tonya Carrier and a great niece Adriana Carrier.

He is survived by his sisters: Rose Meucci of Erie, PA, Donna Murray of West Virgina; his half siblings: Juanita Proctor, Henry Proctor, Robert Proctor, and Richard Proctor; his 3 nieces: Michele and Sandra Carrier, Lana Hermosillo; 2 nephews; Raymond and Benjamin Carrier; his aunts, Nancy Rieger Sanders and family and Sue Walker and many cousins; his faithful cat, Katie May; 12 great nieces and nephews; 2 great great nieces; and close family friends Brenda Rui and her family and Karen Carder.

Friends may call at A & J Bayview, 4th and Cascade Streets, on Saturday February 1st, from 6 to 8 p.m. in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family in care of the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street, Erie PA 16502.
