Carolyn (Carol) Ann Aquillano Letizio, 69, went to rest on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at home surrounded by her loved ones, after a long courageous battle with cancer; never once letting it get the best of her.
Carol was born in Erie, on March 12, 1948 to the late Madeline (Alberico) and Samuel Aquillano.
Carol is survived by her husband of 49 years, Anthony Letizio as well as her children Andrea (Michael) Jones of Syracuse, NY; Maria (Robert) Macko of Layfayette, LA; Dr. Anthony Letizio, and Gina (Michael) DiLuzio both of Erie. She is the nana to Zachary, Ian, Alyssa and Kayla Jones; Lauren, Anthony and Hannah Letizio; Spencer, Ryan and Ava Macko; and Michael and Madeline DiLuzio. She is further survived by her three brothers, Richard Aquillano, James (Arlene) Aquillano and Samuel (Wendy) Aquillano, all of Erie and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria "Vicki" Letizio.
Carol lived life to the fullest and enjoyed being around family and friends. Never once did she think of herself, always of others first. She loved all things Harry Potter, including seeing the theme parks on both coasts! Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed her cross word puzzles, playing Solitaire and Word Crumble. Carol was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
