Carolyn Hicks

Carolyn Hicks, age 56, of Erie, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at home surrounded by family.                            

She was born on August 14, 1961, a daughter of the late Jessie Warren Webb and Helen Ada Hicks. 

She was a devoted mother who was flirty and funny, who loved to talk mess, cook, read, dance, and listen to music (especially Keith Sweat).  She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, were among other things she served as an usher,

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Baby Curtis Morrow, and her grandson, Ibrim Hicks.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her in memory, her children, Tiffany, Autumn and Joshua Hicks, her siblings, Cheryl and David Hicks; son-in-law, Jamale Crockett; and niece and nephews, Michael, Terrance, James, and Arabia.  Further surviving are her 10 grandchildren with one on the way.

Friends may call on the family at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 W. 10^th St. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Floyd McClure presiding. Burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
