Carol E. Schroeck, age 84, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born in Erie on October 24, 1939, a daughter of the late Raymond John and Adalaide Ellen Riddle Meyer. Carol was a graduate of Thiel college. She was a regulator affairs administrator for Steris until her retirement. Carol was a lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and a Golden Star member of the Order of Eastern Star Gridley Chapter #324.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Joseph Schroeck in 2015; her brothers in law Richard Joseph Kraus, Thomas John Schroeck and sister in law Antoinette Jasinski.
She is survived by her sisters in law Allene Mae Schroeck, Audrey Irene Strobel, Mary Ann Wenschel and Carol Ann Wahlen; brothers in law Lawrence Henry Schroeck and Robert Michael Schroeck; many nieces and nephews and her dear longtime friend Wayne E. Estes.
Friends and family are invited to a Service of Remembrance at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, PA on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Kristen Papson officiating. Following services, the Order of Eastern Star Gridley Chapter #324 will conduct a memorial service. Private interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
