Carol A. (Hush) Keller, age 68, of Erie passed away peacefully into the hands of the Lord while surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, June 9, 2018. She was born August 30, 1949 in Conneaut, OH the daughter of the late George and Josephine (Qualtiere) Hush.
Carol graduated from Strong Vincent High School, worked for Keystone Laundry, and retired from Blair Corp.
She had a passion for Bingo and loved spending time with her family, especially her sister Mary who was her best friend and loved dearly.
She also enjoyed visiting with her nephews and their families at events and special functions.
Carol led a very simple life and never asked for anything, but was Thankful for what she had.
Besides her parents, she will be joining at the gates of heaven a grandson, Justin Bowersox and a nephew, Anthony Henning.
Carol is survived by her life partner, Michael Landon of Erie; a daughter Tracey Wozniak and her husband Jim; a son Jerry Keller and his wife Beth; a sister, Mary Laurie and her husband Alton, all of Erie. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Jimmy, Destiny, and Melissa Wozniak and Tyler, Anna, and Kearsten Keller. She is the aunt of Kenneth (Mark) Henning (Mary Ann), David Henning (Karen), and Timothy Henning (Michele).
Carol’s family would like to express extreme gratitude to the team of medical providers at UPMC Hamot MICU (5) and the 6th floor for the great care and concern provided during her last days.
Friends are invited to call at the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. on Monday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and are invited to attend Funeral Services Tuesday at 11:00 AM in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 4701 Old French Rd., Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
