Carol Francis Fulkrod

Carol Francis Fulkrod, age 74, of Erie, passed away on Thursday July 13, 2023 at UPMC Hamot.  She was born in Erie on July 7, 1949, to the late John Miller and Theresa Urmann Mitchell.

Carol graduated from Tech Memorial High School.  She received her cosmetology license and began a long career of hairdressing.   She worked for the Sisters of St. Jospeh, Abington Crest, and Lutheran Home.   She was very creative as well, making door wreaths and other hand crafts that she sold at local craft markets.  She was a caring person who loved her children dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Annette Miller Batista.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Barry Fulkrod; children: Jason Oldland, Kevin Oldland, Stephen Oldland, Amy Beasley, Christy Fulkrod, and Michael Fulkrod; and many grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings: Rose Ann Briggs (Jack), Pat Duke, Cathy Monahan (Mike), Kevin Miller (Cindi), Mary Riazzi (Nick), Mike Mitchell (Terri), and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
