Carol Ann Seitzinger Falcone, age 75 of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at her residence.
She was born in Erie on April 4, 1937, the daughter of the late John and Irma Pelzmann Seitzinger.
Carol was a 1955 graduate of McDowell High School and was a member of the reunion committee for many years.
She worked for more than 30 years at the Burton Funeral Home as a secretary and greeter, knew many families in the Erie and Millcreek area, and was loved by many.
Carol was one of the founders of the Twins Mothers' Club, a member of the Erie Playhouse, and was an avid reader and crafter. She most enjoyed her grandchildren and her dog.
Survivors include twin daughters: Christine Capotis and her husband Michael of Erie, and Carren Cerami of Erie; her son James Falcone and his wife Lauren of Orlando, Florida; six grandchildren: Jennifer Cerami, Rachel Cerami, Michael Capotis, Julie Capotis, Madison Falcone and Griffin Falcone; two great grandchildren: twins Connor and Jason Jagta; her very best furry friend and loving companion, Phoebe, and her wonderful neighbors on Post Ave.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Ave.), on Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and are invited to services there on Monday at 11am. Private burial in Erie Cemetery.
