Carol Dehn

Carol Jean Dehn, age 78, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at her residence.

Jean was born on September 22, 1943 in Conneaut Township, PA daughter of the late Oiva and Esther Fails Krans.

She was a 1961 graduate of Northwestern High School and attended Jamestown Business College.

Jean was employed at Arthur Andersen as a tax operations manager.

She served on the board of the Albion Library and was a member of the Kingsley United Methodist Church. Reading and visits to Presque Isle were among some of her favorite pastimes.

Jean was preceded in death by her first husband Carl Eber.

Survivors include her husband George, a brother John and his wife Jean of Williamsville, NY. A nephew Timothy Krans of Albion, PA and a niece Sherry Walier and her husband Peter of Alpharetta, GA. Three great nieces and one great great nephew and niece also survive. She is further survived by her step children Randy Dehn (Lucy), Penny Tanner (Rex), and Richard, John, Elaine, Beth, Nathan and Jennifer Eber, along with several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
