Carlos Pabon, age 50, of Erie passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Carlos fought the good fight and is now resting from his long battle with cancer. He was born May 15, 1971 in Erie the son of Carlos and Evelyn Bowersox Pabon.
Carlos had worked as an assembler at Eriez Magnetics and took great pride in his work. He was a servant of the community through his work with the Orrie-M-Club at Eriez. Carlos was an avid fisherman and spent many hours fishing at Walnut Creek. He had a signature smile and a kind heart that would light up a room.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Porath.
Besides his parents, Carlos is survived by the loved of his life of 31 years, Tina Ciotti Pabon; his three children who he was so proud of and thankful to have, Kayla Martin (Ryan Goodban), Caden Pabon (Emily), and Isaiah Pabon. His granddaughter, Amelia Martin who he loved beyond words and spoiled proudly. He is survived by his siblings; Rhonda Porath, Cindy Porath, Georgianna Arbaugh (Larry), John Porath, Eugene Pabon (Fawn), and Moises Pabon. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews along with a large extended family and an amazing group of friends.
Friends are invited to call at the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St., on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM and are invited to attend Prayer Services there Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
