Carl Gregoroff

Carl “Shadow” Gregoroff, age 92, of Erie, passed away February 16, 2022. He was born in Erie on March 24, 1929, the son of the late Ilarion Gregoroff and Anna Andrynof.

Carl was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School and worked for General Electric for 44 years before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Nativity of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Morris Gregoroff; five sisters, Margaret Daniloff; Donna Sherman, Dorothy Wasiloff, Marian Wolfe and Irene Cornelius; and brothers, James Biel and Thomas Gregoroff. 

He is survived by three daughters Susan Sobotka of Shillington, PA; Elaine Gregoroff of Erie; Natalie (Patrick) Maher of Lake City, PA; and one son, Matthew (Rachel) Gregoroff of Fort Myers, Florida. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great- grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. Private Funeral Services were held at the Russian Orthodox Church of the Nativity, with burial in St. John the Divine Cemetery.
