Carl Connor

Carl Dennis Connor, age 59, of Erie died on Sunday November 9, 2014 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in St. Augustine, FL on March 11, 1955 to Leonard Bell and the late Willie Louise Connor.

Carl graduated from St. Augustine High School in 1974. He worked in the maintenance department at Penn State Behrend and as a pulp mill laborer at Hammermill Paper Company. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed golfing and fishing.

In addition to his father, his is survived by his wife Alicia Connor; his daughters Cierria Connor, Ebony Dixon, Myisha Coles and Jacquline Wilford; five grandchildren; sisters Parthehia Bell and Joan Jackson; brothers Leonard Jr. and Phaion Bell. He is further survived by his father and mother-in-law, Joe and Lois Knight and brothers and sisters-in-law Marvin, Sylvia, Mark and Luctria Knight. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends are invited to call on the family on Friday November 21st from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 W. 10th St.Erie, Pa. 16502 and attend a service there on Saturday at 11 am with brother Jamal Shields and brother Arnie Pearson doing the talk and prayer.
