Calvin Paul Naylor age 60, of Erie, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Erie on December 1, 1953 a son of the late Alfred Chalmers and Nancy Ellen Maguire Naylor.
He graduated from McDowell High School in 1972.
Calvin worked at Associated Finishing Systems as a finisher.
He will be missed and remembered as a great joker, hardworking, kind and gentle soul. He was a friend to all.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a younger brother, Gregory A. Naylor, a nephew, Larry Wiseman Jr. and a cousin, Richard A. Naylor.
He is survived by his oldest brother, Alfred E. Naylor and his wife Caren; two sisters, April E. Wiseman (Naylor), Tina Naylor Riston and her husband Anthony, brother Dana Naylor; his aunt Rose M. Naylor and uncle Wayne Naylor and their children, Kathleen and Robert Dana; David and Renee Naylor, James and Cheryl Naylor, Thomas and Alexandra Naylor, Susan and Joseph Cerri and Robert Naylor; four nephews, Jeremy C. Wiseman and his wife Deanna, Adam DiCarlo, Dustin Wiseman and his fiancée Lacy and Isaac Riston; five nieces, Jennifer Wiseman Lehman and her husband Christian Jr., Tanya Riston and Joe Gangemi, Amanda Wiseman, Anna Sayles and her fiancée Cory Martin and Rebecca Naylor; 13 great nephews and nieces, Tyler, Julian, Logan and Arianna Wiseman, Luca and Anthony Gangemi, Brianna Wiseman and Veira Gorniak, Sierrah, Christian, and Ryder Lehman, and Savannah and Jayla Orzethowski; and a great niece, Alohna Martin.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
