Calvin Moffett

Calvin L. Moffett age 56, of Erie, died Thursday, January 28, 2016 at home. He was born in Erie, Pa. on December 20, 1959 a son of Julius and Estella Graves Moffett. He was a graduate of East High School and worked for many years at the Erie Hammermill (International) Paper Company and also C.P.S. in Fairview. He loved both playing and watching basketball as well as watching movies and listening to music.

Calvin was preceded in death by a brother, Dwayne Moffett and grandparents; Samuel and Lucille Moffett and Aster and Maddie Graves. He is survived by three brothers; Dewitt Moffet, Lane Moffett and Marlowe Weaver all of Erie. He also leaves two sisters; Linda Moffett and Shirleen Moffett also both of Erie. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also remain along with a very special niece, Latoya Carrol who deserves a special thank you for all her help. Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West 10th St., Erie, Pa. 16502 on Saturday from 3:00 pm till the time of services there at 5:00 pm with the Reverend Willie Saunders officiating.
