Calvin Love

Calvin K. Love age 88 of Erie, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie, Pa. on January 1, 1925 a son of the late George J. and Helen (Bush) Love.

He graduated from Millcreek High School. He proudly served as a Marine during WWII and was involved in the Battle of Iwo Jima. Calvin married the late Josephine Onorato and worked as a contractor for Love and Buseck Builders. He was also an active member of Saint George Church. In addition to his parents and wife, Calvin was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and David. He is survived by one brother Donald of Kansas City, Missouri and several nieces and nephews. Calvin was a loving and caring man and a great uncle.
