Bridget Hammar

Bridget Ann Hammar (Nolan) age 68, of Erie, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loving sister, passed away peacefully on Monday June 27, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh after a brief illness.

She joins her parents Joseph and Mary Nolan and her sister Mary Joyce DeMichele (Nolan).

Bridget was born on August 7, 1953 in Erie, Pa. She graduated from Villa Maria Academy and worked for GTE for many years. Most recently she received her 25 year service award with Gannon University of which she was so proud. She was loved by all of her coworkers and will be dearly missed. Bridget loved sewing, spending time with her grandchildren and loved making Birthdays and Holidays extra special for her whole family.

Bridget lives in the hearts of her loving husband, Rick Hammar; her four sons, Patrick Connaroe and his wife Kristen, Kevin Connaroe and his fiancé Kaila, Daniel Connaroe and his wife Kelly and Rick Hammar and his wife Brittany; a brother Joseph (Ginger); sister Lisa Clark (Rich) and her grandchildren, Logan, Lillie, Conner, Aubrie, Aubriana and Giana. She is further survived by many amazing nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. West Ridge on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
